Condition
Laid down on mount. Some slight discolouration at the margins of the sheet and some faint finger-prints (Redouté's?) at the upper part of the vellum. Otherwise the sheet is clear and in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note
Like Rosa Rubiginosa Aculeatissima (part of lot 86), this semi-double form of rose is a hybrid of the sweet-brier rose. It is now lost to cultivation, but other varieties exist which it closely resembles.
