Condition
Laid down on mount. A slight shadowing at the margins where the sheet is glued on the reverse. There is some minor surface dirt at the lower right corner, and a very small grey stain near the lower left corner. Otherwise the sheet is clear and in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note
A most unusual form of China rose whose leaflets are reduced to long, narrow segments – hence its popular name 'the peach-leaved rose'. Known today as Rosa chinensis var. longifolia, it is probably still grown in China but is now extinct in the West.
