Condition
Laid down at the edges to the mount, which has caused a slight discolouration at the margins, more notably at the lower edge. A very pale yellow small strip of staining at the upper left, barely noticeable. Otherwise the sheet is in good condition, the watercolour fresh.

Catalogue Note
A remarkable form of the 'cabbage' rose whose petals were narrow and pointed like those of a carnation. It is now thought to be lost to cultivation.
