Catalogue Note

Rosa Malmundariensis is still in cultivation today, and is a form of Rosa montana, a 'dog' rose native to the Ardennes.

Rosa Pimpinelli Folia Mariaeburgensis is a form, possibly a hybrid, of the 'Scotch Brier', with red flower-buds that leave a dark pink stripe down the outside of the petals. The engraved design includes a rosehip near the lower right corner.
