Catalogue Note

Henry Frederick Conrad Sander (1847-1920) was a German-born orchidologist and nurseryman who settled in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The present work was published in monthly parts, and was named in honour of Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach of Hamburg, another renowned orchidologist.
