Condition

The painted wood panel was in excellent condition. The paint was tightly bound with no visible losses or degradation to the coating. The wooden squares were all accounted for and well secured to the background panel. No damage or surface soiling was noted on the surface. Faint amber-colored spots were observed on the panel in between the squares. The panel was slightly warped in its frame. A small scuff was noted on the proper left bottom corner of the frame.
