- GOLD, RUBIES, DIAMONDS
In the Archeological revival style, to a central scallop shell motif with a pearl, decorated with white enamel, bead and rope work detailing and highlighted with circular-cut and rose diamonds, glazed compartment to reverse, British marks.
Condition
Stamped 15 for 15 carat gold. British assay marks for Edinburgh, maker's mark G & MC. Central button pearl measuring approximately 7.10mm in diameter, slight rosé overtones. Diamonds bright and lively. Chips to black enamel on scallop shell.Glazed compartment to reverse opens. Slight scratches and discolouration to mount consistent with age and wear, could benefit from a careful professional clean. In very good condition.
