GEM-SET AND CAMEO BROOCH AND GOLD, PEARL AND DIAMOND BRACELET, 19TH CENTURY

Comprising: a brooch centring on a carved agate cameo of Flora, the frame decorated with black enamel, set with oval rubies and circular-cut diamonds, circa 1860, later brooch fitting; together with a bracelet designed as a wide velvet band applied with a textured gold work clasp and plaque, set with pearls and rose-cut diamonds, circa 1820, length approximately 175mm.

Cameo: Cameo with nicks to edge and one chip to neck of carving. Rubies a medium purplish (pinkish) red, well matched, with typical inclusions visible with magnification, total weight estimated to be 3.00 - 3.50 carats. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70 - 0.80 carats, bright, lively stones. Some enamel damage repaired. Rotating safety catch. Georgian Bracelet: pearls test as natural, diamonds bright. Could benefit from a careful professional clean. Jewels in good condition.
