  • AMETHYST, PEARLS AND GOLD
One set with an octagonal amethyst framed by pearls; together with a brooch centring on an oval amethyst within a radiating surround set with pearls.

Condition

Sample pearls test as natural, saltwater. Octagonal: Amethyst a medium purple, typical inclusions visible with magnification, nicks and abraded facet junctions, calculated to weigh aproximately 28.00 carats. Two pearls damaged. Early 20th century. Rotating safety catch. Oval: Amethyst a dark purple, typical inclusions visible with magnification, slightly abraded facet junctions, calculated to weigh approximately 15.00 carats. Traces of glue to edge of amethyst and on some pearls. In good condition.
