TWO GEM-SET AND DIAMOND BROOCHES, CIRCA 1900

Comprising: a brooch designed as a dragonfly set with circular-cut emeralds, sapphires and circular- and rose-cut diamonds, later brooch fitting and pendant hook; together with a brooch of tied ribbon design set with a pearl and cultured pearl, circular-, single- and rose-cut diamonds.

Dragonfly: Mounted in silver and gold. Stamped with French import marks to pin. Diamonds estimated to weigh 0.50 carat, bright, lively stones, emeralds 0.70 carats, well matched, sapphire estimated to weigh approximtaely 0.30 carat. Later pin. Scratches to mount consistent with wear. Swag brooch: Small pearl tested as natural saltwater, larger is a cultured pearl. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.00 - 2.10 carats, bright, lively stones. Safety catch. In good condition.
