  • RUBY, DIAMOND AND 18 CARAT GOLD
Designed as a graduated series of clusters each centring on an oval or cushion-shaped ruby within borders of brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 380mm, unsigned, case by Fürst, Roma.

If you are interested in this lot please contact the Jewellery Department before bidding. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Necklace in white gold but rubies set with yellow gold claws. Rubies: weighing approximately 110.0 carats, well matched, purplish red, strong saturation in colour, semi translucent. Typical inclusions visible to the naked eye and with magnification. Largest ruby: 12.8mm x 11.5mm x 6.1mm approximately, weighing approximately 7.54 carats. Smallest: 6.4mm x 6.6mm x 3.8mm approximately, weighing approximately 1.34 carats. Diamonds: weighing approximately 35.0 carats, bright and lively. Estimated colour H-J, estimated clarity VS-SI. Largest diamonds: 0.20 carat each approximately. Smallest:0.06 carat each approximately. Unsigned. Indistinct mark on clasp, possibly signature. Well articulated. Secure clasp. Safety catch to underside. In good condition.
