  • 18 CARAT GOLD AND SAPPHIRES
The rectangular reeded case opening to reveal a mirrored compartment, each terminal and the thumb piece set with calibré-cut sapphires, with a gauze powder sifter, measurements approximately 80mm x 60mm x 13mm, signed Cartier Paris and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Numbered HC 85012. Sapphires a dark blue with moderately strong saturation, typical inclusions visible with magnification, few with surface reaching cavities or chip. Thumb piece a little stiff. Scratches and indentations to case consistent with age and use. Weighing approximately 213.3 grams. Could benefit from a careful professional clean. In very good condition.
