Description

  • ENAMEL, SAPPHIRES, DIAMONDS AND PEARLS, GOLD
Each suspending a drop shaped pearl to a rose-cut diamond set cap, with circular-cut diamond connections, the surmount centring on a sapphire bordered by circular-cut diamonds and further decorated with enamel, later, clip and post fittings. 

Condition

Accompanied by a report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, no.02426, stating that the pearls were found to be natural saltwater. Austrian assay marks for Vienna and 14 carat gold. Pearls measuring approximately 12.3 x 9.9mm and 12.9 x 10.1mm, medium lustre. Sapphires abraded but well matched in colour. Principal diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.98 and 0.99 carats, estimated colour L/M, estimated clarity VS2/SI1. Slight losses to enamel. Surmounts later. Well articulated. In good condition.
