Condition

Good condition; executed on the toop of a folded sheet of paper--bottome sheet is folded under and work is hinged at the top of the fold, which shows some wear including two 2 1/2 inch losses along the edge. Crease across lower left corner and small crease with associated small loss at center left edge. May be slightly light-struck overall.

Catalogue Note

The inscription refers to the brand of wax crayons Moore was using--the same as those he first experimented with in 1935.  The signature was added at a later date.
