Condition
This work is in very good condition. There is a rich dark brown patina with gold reflection. Some light patina wear can be seen at some parts of the side edges. A small scuff is visible at 15 cm of the right hand side and perpendicular to the upper edge.

Catalogue Note
signed 'Alberto Giacometti' and numbered '3/8' (lower right), bronze. Conceived in plaster circa 1936-39 and cast by Susse in 1988 in an edition of eight casts, numbered from '1/8' to '8/8' plus two casts numbered '0/8' and '00/8' .
