This canvas is lined and the paint layer is stable. There are a number of restorations visible to the naked eye and under ultraviolet light addressing small damages to the paint layer. There is a one inch vertical restoration in the top left corner and a small area of restoration directly above the house in the upper left quadrant. There is a two and a half inch restoration along the right edge running down from the front of the boat and a two and half inch horizontal restoration directly below the boat along the bottom edge. There are also various small restorations along the bottom edge addressing frame abrasion. There are two areas of restoration running vertically directly to the right of the house and to the left of the three trees on the right hand side which appear to address pentimenti. There are also a number of small, scattered retouches addressing some small imperfections in the paint layer. This painting is clean and the paint layer is stable however, the old restorations have not been accurately applied and have discolored over time.
