Catalogue Note

The 'Heure Universelle', or World Time model, is the result of a revolutionary synchronization principle. This patented mechanism allows for the single push button to control the adjustment of the 24 hour ring, city ring and current local time. The complexities of this mechanism make reading and operating the World Time wristwatch remarkably easy.

Ref. 5130 replaced the previous World Time by Patek Philippe, Ref. 5110. It is just over 2 millimeters larger in diameter than its predecessor and features a slightly different dial design, with a starburst guilloché center. The globe-shaped hour hand is inspired by the legendary Patek Philippe World Time watches from the 1950s, such as Ref. 2523.
