Catalogue Note

Accompanied by Urwerk Certificate and a presentation box with an outer card box.

Urwerk introduced the Dragon series of UR-103, offering its collectors a very unique and personal timepiece. For these engraved pieces, URWERK works with the Neuchâtel based master engraver and creator of automatons, Jean Vincent Huguenin.  As both a craftsman and an artist, Huguenin is part of a dynasty of watchmakers, both his father and his grandfather worked in the watchmaking industry and from whom he inherited the know-how.  His years of training at the School of Applied Arts allowed him to acquire the confident and precise dexterity essential to the perfection of his work.  Each of Huguenin's creations is different and requires about one month of his dedicated talent and attention.  Fewer than twenty unique pieces leave his workshop every year which makes owning one of his artworks a privilege.
