- THREE GILT PAINTED CLOCKS IN THE STYLE OF A PARISIAN STREET LAMPCIRCA 1960 '208 AVENUE DE VERSAILLES' AND TWO 'RUE DE LA PAIX'
- each: height 28 cm
• each with manual winding nickel lever movement, mono-metallic balance • each with cream dial, Roman numerals, pierced hands • inset within a painted gilt brass stand in the form of a Parisian lamp post, one with a plaque inscribed "208 Avenue de Versailles" and two with a plaque inscribed "Rue de la Paix" • dials and movements signed
Condition
Manual winding movements running while cataloguing. Dials slightly discolored. Cases and base with scuffs from normal wear with some paint loss. "208 Avenue de Versailles" with crack to off-white plastic surmount above clock. One "Rue de la Paix" base tarnished. "208 Avenue de Versailles" case back signed LeCoultre Co Swiss. Two "Rue de la Paix" case backs not signed but stamped 15 pierres.
