Condition

Automatic movement running and date advancing while cataloguing, however it is recommended to get service. Case and buckle with minor scuffs from light wear but can be polished off easily. Back of the case numbered 1726, CC293098 and No. 31/97. **The strap of this wristwatch is made from an endangered species, please refer to important notices for further information**.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Cartier Certificate, Instruction Manual and a presentation box with outer card box. 

This model was produced in a special limited edition of 97 piece to commemorate the hand-over of Hong Kong from Great Britain to the People's Republic of China in June 1997. The dial is specially set with Arabic numerals only at 9 and 7 o'clock, corresponding to the momentous year. The present lot is number 31 from that series.
