• manual winding movement, 17 jewels • white dial, applied Arabic and triangular numerals, two engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30-minute register • stainless steel Oyster case with screw-down crown and back • case, dial and movement signed

Condition

Manual winding movement running and chronograph functions are operating while cataloguing. The chronograph hand does not reset on 12 sharp, it needs adjusting. However it may require a service in the near future for it to be well preserved. Dial in good condition. Case with scuffs to the sides and scratches to the case back, but this can be polished. Numbers on case back 86018;3525.

Catalogue Note

The present watch is an interesting and well-preserved example of reference 3525 chronograph. The present example is part of the first series made in the early 40's with both reference and serial numbers on the outside of the case back as opposed to between the lugs of the later examples.
