• manual winding damascened nickel lever movement, 29 jewels, repeating with 2 hammers onto 2 gongs • silvered dial, applied baton numerals, aperture for month, date and day in Italian below 12 o'clock, subsidiary dial indicating constant seconds combined with moon-phases • case with stepped bezel, squared stepped bow, snap-on case back • case, dial and movement signed • Extract from the Archives confirming sale on 27 August 1969, presentation case

Condition

The manual movement is running at the time of cataloguing, however it may benefit from a service soon. The calendar is advancing correctly and it is repeating well with a clear sound. Dial with slight mark around the 12 o'clock baton but otherwise in good condition. The case with some light scuffs but overall in good condition, the edges are sharp and well defined.
