- FOUR GOLD AND ENAMEL WATCHESCIRCA 1780

the group including: three verge watches, one repeating à toc and one with later cylinder movement • white enamel dials • gold cases with central enamel plaques depicting; two female portraits, cupid and a couple within a landscape
Condition
Berthoud watch: The verge movement runs for a short time and then stops. Enamel dial with chips around the winding hole. Case missing diamonds to the bezel, tarnishing to the case, enamel is in good condition.
Bellard & Mestrat watch: the verge movement is not running or repeating. Dial with small chip at 3 o'clock. Tarnishing to the case back, enamel portrait in good condition.
Unsigned watch: The verge movement runs for a short while. Enamel dial with small cracks to the winding hold. Tarnished case with diamonds missing to the bezel, enamel plaque to case back worn.
Unsigned watch: later cylinder movement is not running. Enamel dial in good condition. Tarnishing to case, wear to gilding on the enamel portrait.
