1st piece: The hands are discolored and the dial is in good condition with no apparent hairlines or chips. Sadly the enamel portrait is restored and probably coated with a lacquer that with age has distorted the image. Otherwise, it is a high quality 19th century reproduction of an 18th century French piece. It is in running order. The attached chain and ball are in good order with no apparent enamel losses or damage. 2nd piece: The dial with hairlines and chips around winding hole. Themovement will run but requires a cleaning. The front and back lids with some enamel loss although not serious. The chatelaine, which as noted is later. It is well made and in good overall condition.
