- A GOLD AND ENAMEL OPEN-FACE WATCH, MADE FOR THE CHINESE MARKETCIRCA 1860
- diameter 42 mm
• gilt cylinder movement, glazed dust cover • white enamel dial, Roman numerals, Breguet hands • case decorated with polychrome enamel burst of summer flowers over red engine-turned ground, bordered by red, green, blue and gold floral swags, bezel decorated in similar manner • dial and movement signed
Condition
The movement is not running and will probably require overhaul. The enamel panel is in good order and the same for the dial. Minor losses to the enamel on the bezels. A lovely and unusual size.
