Description

  • A LADY'S 18K GOLD AND ENAMEL DIAMOND-SET EGG-FORM PENDANT WATCHCIRCA 1900 NO 42555
  • length 28 mm
• cylinder escapement, bezel wound • white enamel dial • egg-form case set with translucent pink enamel over guilloché ground, further enhanced with enamel garlands, diamond-set central band, pendant and bow • case signed, movement and case numbered • with fitted Paul Ditisheim box and associated chain

Condition

The movement runs at the time of cataloguing, however it would likely benefit from service. The dial is in overall good condition, though the hands show some discoloration. The case appears to the missing five screws from the top half of the case. This is likely due to some garland decoration having been removed at some point, which did not damage the watch otherwise. The enamel is in good order for the most part with some slight losses to the white enamel borders. The inside of the top half is stamped PD for Paul Ditisheim.
