Catalogue Note
For a note on Ref. 2526, see lot 155.
This lot and the previous lot were both purchased by the same client on June 10, 1958 at the renowned Patek Philippe retailer Gübelin. The original purchaser was so taken with the handsome design of this watch that he purchased one for each of his two sons.
It is interesting to note that the Gübelin retailer signature on the dial is typed with a slight curviture to follow the subsidiary seconds on the present lot, whereas on the previous lot it is written in a straight line.
