• cal. 321 manual winding movement, 17 jewels, metal dust cover • black dial, aged luminescent baton indexes, broad arrow hands, three subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers • large tonneau water-resistant-type case, bezel lacking, two round chronograph pushers in the band, screw back • case, dial and movement signed

Condition

The movement is running and chronograph is functioning, however it might soon need to be cleaned and oiled. The movement is numbered 15996504. The dial appears to be original, however it is significantly aged. There is a scratch to the center just over the center arbor between the subsidiary dials. The luminescent batons have aged and are dirty throughout. The luminescent paint to the hands has all come off. The case is missing the bezel and otherwise shows general wear throughout. The outside of the back is factory-engraved "Speedmaster", however there is no Seamonster in the center. The inside of the back is numbered 2915-1. The strap contains endangered species; please see Important Notices for further information.

Catalogue Note

Launched in 1957, Ref. 2915 was the first model designated as a Speedmaster. Its most visible design feature are the luminescent so-called broad-arrow hands. These hands have become so iconic that Omega is presently using them again on new production Speedmasters.
