DW8002 manual wind movement, flying one-minute tourbillon carriage, 24 jewels • black skeletonized dial, outer ring with Roman numerals, tourbillon carriage at 6 o'clock, exposed winding mechanism between 12 and 2 o'clock, arch-form power reserve at 9 o'clock • titanium case with pink gold accents, raised titanium gear-form bezel, alternating column decoration to the band, pink gold screw-set lugs, pink gold sapphire crystal display back • case, dial and movement signed • 18k pink gold DeWitt double deployant clasp • certificate, heavy presentation box, packaging 

Condition

The movement is running, however it might require service soon. It is numbered 47. The dial is clean and has no marks. The case is in nice condition and shows only light wear throughout, particularly to the case side at 4 o'clock. The presentation box is broken along one side and the top is loose. It no longer closes. The certificate is in its own box, which has also broken.

The unusual movement and dial design of this model, the Academia Tourbillon Differentiel, bring new innovations in watch-making to a sleek aesthetic. The cal. DW8002 featured in the present lot has a power reserve of 120 hours and also utilizes the patented IRM winding system, visible at the top of the dial.
