the base band mounted with cartouches enclosing faceted citrines and amethysts, within applied beaded borders, the ribs with similar cartouches enclosing chrysophases and carnelians above acanthus foliage, partly-matted ball finial surmounted by a lion holding the Tablets of the Law
marked on base band and Torah brace with maker's name and city and numbered 1415
