Composed of openwork gold beads, baroque cultured pearls measuring approximately 9.5 to 9.0 mm., faceted emerald beads measuring approximately 15.0 mm., and cabochon sapphires measuring approximately 14.1 by 11.0 mm. to 9.5 by 7.0 mm., lengths 19 and 20½ inches, unsigned, numbered 2332 and 2333, accompanied by a copy of Seaman Schepps invoice dated December 16, 1994.
Condition
Necklace numbered 2332 set with emeralds weighing 51.65 carats, sapphires weighing 130.65 carats and baroque cultured pearls measuring 9.0 to 9.5 mm. Necklace numbered 2333 set with emeralds weighing 36.45 carats, sapphires weighing 196.70 carats and baroque cultured pearls measuring 9.0 to 9.5 mm. The sapphires are slightly lighter in color than pictured in the printed catalaogue. The emeralds are a less bright than pictured in the catalogue and are nearly opaque. The pearls are a creamy rose hue with overtones of pink, typical noduling and ringing for baroque pearls. The necklaces can be joined. In good condition.
