- Platinum, 18 karat gold, onyx, enamel, pearl, diamond, lapel-watch
The circular dial with Roman numerals, suspended from a lapel pin set with rose-cut, round and a French-cut diamond weighing approximately 1.25 carats, calibré-cut onyx segments, and seed pearls, applied with black enamel, manual movement, dial signed Cartier, lapel numbered 158871.
Condition
In good condition. Diamonds have nice life and brilliance. Onyx intact other than minor scratches. With minor losses to the enamel commensurate with age and use. Dial exhibits some discoloration and minor scratches to the crystal. Pearls have good luster. Inside case number 11190, reference number 6669 on back cover. Engraved inside by hand on movement bridges 'E.W. & C. Co. Inc. (for European Watch & Clock Co. Inc.) Swiss, 19-nineteen-jewels, 8-Eight-Ajustments. The movement is size 8½ L, six bridges design movement, breguet blued steel balance hair spring. See Important Notice Regarding Condition of Watches on page 256 of the catalogue.
