- AN UNUSUAL 18K YELLOW GOLD AND BAKELITE BACK-WOUND CLIP WATCHCIRCA 1935
- 18 Karat Gold, Bakelite, clip-watch
- length 4 cm, width 2 cm
The rectangular dial with Arabic numerals, within a Bakelite surround, manual movement, movement signed Jaeger, dial signed Cartier, caseback and clip numbered 25110, maker's mark for Edmond Jaeger, French assay marks.
Condition
The movement is running, serviced earlier this year for cleaning. It is numbered 1954. The dial is in good condition with some light spots throughout. The case is in nice condition and the bakelite clip is clean. Under the bezel the case is numbered 25110, which is repeated on the outside of the back and on the clip. Manual wind movement, 15 jewels • silvered dial, Arabic numerals • gold bezel and case back set within a bakelite surround, gold clip.
