- 18 karat gold, diamond, brooch
Of stylized wing design, comprising a series of tri-color, circular platelets and set with numerous round diamonds, signed Mauboussin, indistinct numbering, maker's marks.
Condition
Good condition with light scratching throughout. Small area of discoloration near the tip (as seen on page 87 of the catalogue). Very small spot of gold solder visible from the front where the pin bridge is attached, but this is seen only on close inspection. The diamonds weigh approximately 5.75 carats and are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. A wonderfully three-dimensional and dynamic design.
