Description
- platinum, ruby, diamond, ring
Invisibly-set with calibré-cut rubies, set diagonally with round diamonds, size 7¼, maker's mark, three rubies missing.
Condition
As noted in the catalogue, there are 2 (possibly 3) rubies missing from the same row bordering one of the shoulders. The rubies are deep slightly purplish red and well-matched; several examples chipped. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. Maker's mark R M bisected by a fly within a lozenge, possibly French. There is another, unidentified mark. The mounting is in good overall condition with light nicking throughout commensurate with regular wear and evidence of sizing.
