The sketch with various botanical drawings on ivory with the scientific classification for each plant on the reverse, signed Fulco Pinxit, the gold easel set with an onyx cabochon, signed Verdura; together with an 18 karat gold and lapis lazuli frame, set with lapis lazuli cabochons, containing a sketch of lilacs on paper, the frame signed Schlumberger, Paris.

Condition

EASEL: The gold easel in very good condition with light scratching. The painted panel with losses to the varnish and some paint on the reverse; the front in good condition. Signed on the reverse, "Fulco Pinxi" (Fulco painted it). Probably executed in the mid-to-late 1960s. FRAME: very good condition.
