The brooch set with round sapphires weighing approximately 7.40 carats, old European-cut, old mine and round diamonds weighing approximately 1.10 carats, circa 1880, with retractable pendant hook, accompanied by a brooch fitting and screwdriver; the gold ring, size 8. With two boxes signed DS Lavender.
Condition
The 12 medium blue sapphires are eye-clean. The larger diamonds are approximately G-I color, VS-SI clarity. The smaller diamonds are approximately near colorless and decorative in quality. One of the larger diamonds is a later-added modern round brilliant. The yellow gold shank with split foliate shoulders of modern manufacture. Accompanied by boxes signed DS Lavender to accomodate the ring as well as the brooch fitting. In good condition.
