- porcelain, gilt-bronze
- 60cm. high; 1ft.11in.
one side applied with a mount with a charioteer driving three horses amongst clouds, the other with an eagle seated on ribbon-tied branches of foliage, each side with a handle terminating in two Bacchic masks, on a plinth base, one side with a seated griffin, the other with a ribbon-tied floral festooned lyre motif
Condition
The mounts are slightly dirty and the gilding is worn in places. Good quality mounts. Miniscule chip to square base corner which can be retouched. In overall good condition.
