Description

  • gilt-metal, glass
  • 146cm. high, 101cm. wide; 4ft.9in., 3ft.3¼in.
of rectangular form, with divided plates applied with blue and clear glass stylised flowerheads within  ripple-cut parcel-gilt mouldings

Condition

There is a break across the plate and some smaller breaks in the glass around the borders, as visible from photograph. There is a section of the wooden border on the top right side and the bottom right side, which has lost its waved carving and gilding, as visible from photograph which can either be left or easily replaced. Some minor chips to the plate. Some of the spirally twist glass border has been replaced. There is a gap between the right side mirrored borders and the plate with the wooden backing showing through but this can easily be restored. In otherwise good condition.
