Movement: with going, striking and alarm trains. Going train with fusee and verge escapement to balance wheel. Striking train with spring barrel, numbered external locking plate and striking the hours on an internal bell. Alarm train triggered by alarm setting dial to centre of main dial qnd acting on the hour bell. All spring barrels and fusee in brass but all wheels, arbors, springs and pinions in steel. Condition: All very dirty and with extensive surface rusting to steel; later balance wheel and hairspring, several spare holes in front and back plates indicating the removal of some parts although the three present trains are complete and will just run.

La scène de triomphe rappelle les compositions des gravures des artistes hollandais et allemand Cornelius Bos (1506-1564) et Pieter van der Bocht (1540-1608).
