Nicolas Petit, ébéniste reçu maître en 1761
Une table similaire appartenant à l'ancien collection Bardac, également en acajou a été vendue à Paris le 10 mai 1920, lot 93. Une petite série de tables assez proches est attribuée ou estampillée à Adam Weisweiler. Elles sont en général en ébène et certaines ornées d'un vase de bronze patiné à l'entretoise (Musée Nissim de Camondo à Paris, estampillées). Une table également estampillées Weisweiler a été vendue à Paris, étude Beaussant-Lefèvre, le 18 décembre 2002, lot 119 (180.000 €).
