Condition

Both with age and construciton cracks and abrasions to carving. Both with old worm damage. Both with legs blocked. Smaller fauteuil with restored breaks to stretcher and two feet recarved. Taller fauteuil most probably reconstructed from a sofa. Taller fauteuil with later stretcher and with considerable loss to one feet as a result of cat or dog scratches and wood worm. Upholstery with some tears; not extensive, and scattered slits and color changes and dirt. In otherwise sound condition.
