Sold, Sotheby's, London, November 8, 1966, lots 9, 10, 12, 13 (part)

Condition

The plates all have some very minor light scratch marks to the center consistent with use and not particularly disfiguring, and some minor stacking wear affecting the glaze and the gilt line inner border at intervals around the cavetto. One plate had a 3/8-in. flat chip to the underside of the rim edge. Most have some very minor flakes or spots of wear to the gilding of the rim edge. Otherwise, the plates are in generally good condition.
