each piece colorfully painted with birds in flight within panels edged with gilt floral and foliate borders reserved on a bleu lapis ground, comprising: a teapot and cover, a footed milk jug, two sugar bowls and covers, a waste bowl, ten cups and saucers, interlaced L's, date letters A, B, C, D or E and various decorators' marks.
Condition
Teapot Date (date letter B): very minor, tiny pinhead chip to the tip of the spout and a minor chip to one leaf of the floral knop.
Milk jug (date letter B): good condition.
Larger sugar bowl (date letter B): some very minor light scratch marks to the blue ground.
Smaller sugar bowl: some minor wear to the gilt rim of the bowl and a tiny chip to the tip of one leaf of the knop.
Bowl (date letter C): good condition.
Eight cups (date letters A, B, C, D, E): one cup has a little very minor rubbing to the gilt rim; otherwise all in generally good condition.
Two taller cups (date letters B, C): good condition.
Saucers (date letters A, B, C): one has a 1-in. haircrack to the rim; one has wear to the gilt rim and the the gilding to the central panel's border; one has an extremely minor 3-mm chip to the footrim. Otherwise all are in generally good condition.
