Standard surface abrasions. Color nuanced with green. Some small scratches and minor pitting. Small traces of yellow glue on the edge of base.

Catalogue Note
This bronze was cast after a terracotta maquette in the Petit Palais (no.4) which was the study for the figure of Fraternité for the large relief of that subject (also known as La République. The original plaster was executed in 1882 and exhibited at the 1883 salone (no.3518) and purchased by the State in that year.
