circular with wirework sides and reeded borders and swing handle, the center engraved with a boar crest under an earl's coronet

Provenance

The crest is that of Edgcumbe, Earls of Mount Edgcumbe, probably for Richard Edgcumbe, 2nd Earl (1764-1839).  He married in 1789 Sophia, daughter of Jon, 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire.
