of oval boat form with applied beaded borders, the upper bodies applied with tassels suspended by foliate arches and spaced by flowerheads, each side centered by an applied plaque cast with putto and flanked chased by laurel swags, one side also applied with a circular plaque depicting a bird crest, the handles formed as long-horned ram heads, the domed cover chased with radiating leaves and with pineapple finial, bodies and covers engraved with initials EP, covers also with later presentation inscription
Condition
some wear to high spots of plaques, one tureen with ding to lower body at intiials, the other with two old repaired splits at rim, one cover with small splits at spone hole
