  • vase marked on body and foot, stand marked on rim with marks for London, 1815, altered probably circa 1889
  • Silver
  • height 25 1/2 in., length over handles 22in.
  • 65cm, 56cm
modeled after the original, the applied masks between the entwined vine handles, egg-and-dart rim, the square base raised on four winged griffin monopods and engraved on two sides with arms

Provenance

The arms on one side of the base are those of Argentina.
