Description

  • marked on base and numbered 5465-3338.  Together with a shaped circular tray with shell and scroll rim, engraved with matching monogram and presentation inscription, Tiffany & Co., New York, circa 1915

of baluster form, the neck chased with stylized anthemions and flowerheads within entwined copper scrolls dotted with silver flowerheads, the body with matching copper swags below floral arabesques and above pendant flower sprays, the loop handle capped with stylized cobra head and engraved with conforming floral arabesques, lower body engraved with script monogram DSR, base inscribed "1891 February 14th 1916"

Condition

some losses to copper scrolls especially to side left of handle and handle, slightly later monogram, some salt stains near lower handle terminal and a couple salt stains to tray, otherwise good condition
