the deep bowl with slightly flared undulating rim, the upper body with speckled surface and applied with thistles in various stages of bloom enclosed within applied and etched scrolls, the lower body spot-hammered and etched with scrolls where the four scroll supports headed by shellwork and tiny scrolls join the body, gilt interior

one foot very slightly pushed up into base, a little wear to gilt interior, overall good condition
